Primary Objective of the Position The primary objective for the Staff Accountant is to provide support to the Accounting department and overall CUI organization with job duties specifically centered around Accounts Receivable and General Ledger.

Over time, job duties will be expanded to other Accounting areas and responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities nn Ensure all accounting transactions are processed on an accurate and timely basis Prepare financial reports in accordance with Company policies and practices and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Ensure analysis and reconciliations are maintained on a current basis to aid management in operating the business and comply with applicable regulations Process accounting transactions, with an emphasis on receivables Provide primary support for all Accounts Receivable processing, credit and collection admin and required reporting, including collections follow-ups and periodic reporting Authorize Pick Slips for shipments based upon review of customer credit Process, review, correct and mail all invoices and credit memos daily Process all credit card transactions for shipments Ensure daily cash receipts are posted in the accounting system on an accurate and timely basis Maintain regular contact with all past due customer accounts, via phone or email, as needed to collect past due balances Process credit applications and provide references to Senior Accountant for credit approval Book journal entries for various accounts Ability to complete tasks under rigid deadlines Complete all other tasks as assigned nn Education and Experience nn Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent relevant work experience required 1-3 years Accounting/Finance work experience preferred Thorough understanding of computerized accounting systems required; experience with SAP Business One and/or Microsoft D365 preferred Experience with Accounts Receivable, journal entries and month end close cycle preferred.

Strong financial analysis skills including the ability to extract and analyze complex data required Strong Microsoft Office Excel skills required Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Strong organizational skills required Able to work independently with minimal supervision required Flexibility to working hours to engage with employees in different countries/time zones as required Strong writing skills and ability to communicate effectively required Proactive and customer service-oriented mindset required nn Work Opportunity nn nnBel will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
