The role: Join our team as a senior construction coordinator!

You will assist in leading construction teams in the administration of preliminary engineering, location surveys, project design and ensure contract compliance.

A day in the life:Provide construction engineering and constructability expertise during project planning.Review complex engineering designs and recommend alterations.Direct, coordinate and complete plan specifications and estimate reviews.Lead and mentor team members of varying position levels.Analyze, develop and complete construction schedules.Oversee consultant service contracts and designs to ensure that deliverables are on time.Meet with internal and external customers to discuss construction projects.Assure that provisions of other internal programs are administered on projects.

What we need:A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, surveying or transportation-related engineering and four years of civil or transportation-related engineering or surveying experience; ORSevenyears of civil or transportation-related engineering or surveying experience.

Two years of this experience must have been independently planning and completing assignments in drafting, field or laboratory inspection, construction contract administration, surveying, materials testing, or traffic investigations; ORAn equivalent combination of education and experience.
