Field Technical Support Consultant

This is a Full-time position in Corvallis, OR posted March 24, 2021.

nn RESPONSIBILITIES: nnKforce is immediately adding a full-time Field Technical Support Consultant in support of our nationally recognized, Consumer and Commercial Electronic R&D client in Corvallis, OR.

Overview: Serves customers by providing product support and services Solves technical issues with current documentation and that does not require further or deep investigation (key troubleshooting steps) Validates known issues and products under warranty and provides compensation Facilitates Letter of Destruction as appropriate Issue credits (up to a certain quantity/ $ amount) Orders replacement units for HW utilizing internal procurement tools and coordinates shipment to customer Elevates issues not documented or with a complex or difficult resolution utilizing the escalation process Logs and documents issues found in the field Works with Level 2 support engineer to develop or update new guidelines, issues and resolutions Ensure a best-in-class customer communication on a regular basis Ensure credits and compensations are delivered to the customer in a timely manner Performs failure analysis activities to establish root cause of customer failures Coordinates lab intake process Conducts analysis testing including but not limited to microscope work, part autopsy, electrical test, xray test, etc.
