Sir Daniel Michael Blake Day-Lewis ( born April 29, 1957) is a British actor born in London. He is the only actor to win three Academy Awards for Best Actor for his roles as Daniel Plainview in Blood , Christy Brown in My Left Foot , and Abraham Lincoln in Lincoln . Day-Lewis is known as one of the most selective actors in the film industry ,
so he has acted in only 4 films in the last 10 years. He is an actor of method acting style follows and is famous for researching his roles and is known as one of the best actors in the history of world cinema .
