NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Collaborate with Engineers, Scrum Masters and Product Owners to envision and deliver robust applications and services that bring omni-channel solutions to the next level. Design and build secure, highly scalable and innovative services in a continuous delivery model on the cloud platform. Partner with leads and architects to establish a technical vision for various commerce experiences. Use Java and micro service architecture, domain driven design, and restful APIS. Work in a distributed and cloud-based environment with high transaction volumes. Design, implement, and maintain IBM Sterling Order and Inventory Management Solution. Define solutions, provide estimates of effort and risk, and evaluate technical feasibility. Work within DevOps, modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, and automated integration tests. Use NoSQL data stores to ensure data storage is designed for security, reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance. Work within scrum and agile principles. Engage in pair programming and perform technical code reviews. Partner with other teams to ensure that the service ecosystem is loosely coupled and scalable.

Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in a software engineering related occupation. Experience must include the following: Design, development and maintenance of enterprise applications using Java/J2EE & related technologies such as Spring, JDBC, JPA, Hibernate, SQL, SOAP or RESTful web service; Working with AWS Cloud services such as S3, Ec2, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Elasticsearch, or IAM; Agile development; Windows, Linux, OS X; Oracle; Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate; and Building Order and Inventory Management Solutions (IBM Sterling OMS)
