Maintenance Mechanic


This is a Full-time position in Clackamas, OR posted November 30, 2020.

**Description:**Consolidated Metco is looking for maintenance technicians to help do repair work for die cast machines in their foundry deprtment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Performs installation, troubleshooting and repairs of plant machinery.
•Perform routine inspections and minor repairs of all material handling equipment.
•Performs Die cast foundry lubrication and inspection per PM program requirements.
•Perform repair and new installation of plant plumbing and general improvement projects.
•Perform Plant crane inspections per PM program requirements.
•Perform air compressor PM per PM program requirements.
•Fabricate and repair platforms, furnace launder supports, catwalks, etc.
•Preform plant rigging and installation of equipment.
•other preventative maintenance activities as specified.
•Maintain storage and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
•Perform periodic maintenance on evaporator and sump systems.
•Small motor, pump and misc.

•Fabrication and repair of furnace covers and tools.
•Works safely and without injury.

•Ability to comprehend and follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
•Ability to interpret mechanical drawings or sketches.
•Be familiar with common symbols used in hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings.
