Personnel Technician
Our client is looking for a Personnel Technician to join their team.

This position will provide administrative and technical support to Corporate Personnel Administration.

You will keep records and prepare statistical reports concerning recruitment, interviews, hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.

This position is currently working remotely, but will eventually be an onsite position.
Personnel Technician Responsibilities
Develop and maintain computer programs for various personnel functions to include:
External and Internal Applicant Database as required by the OFCCP/EEOC.
Job openings and postings.
Requisition Reports.
Applicant Information and Resumes.
Probationary Employee Reviews.
Employee Promotions and Demotions.
DBAG Home Leave Participation and Costs.
Comprehensive Relocation Reports.
Temporary Help and Supplemental Payroll Reports.
Summer Intern Program.
College Recruiting Program.
Contract Employee and Contract Agency Data Base.
Provide corporate office temporary employment needs, coordinate placement, and follow up to assure company performance standards are met.

Support college recruiting efforts by coordinating contacts with placement offices, faculty luncheons, informational presentations by DTNA managers, screening and circulating resumes, contacting students for interviews, and maintaining student databases.
Prepare open job postings.

Review applicant information and resumes for initial screening, recording and retrieval.
Ensure new hire attendance at New Employee Orientation, completion of drug screens, medical exams, and probationary reviews.
Prepare and process corporate office Employee Status Notification Forms 19-.
Support employee relocation program through contact with corporate traffic and external relocation services, and by ensuring various elements of the relocation policy are followed.
Provide administrative support for immigrant visa documentation, renewals and permanent residency requests.
Personnel Technician Qualifications
2-4 years related experience required in a personnel function requiring effective communication skills and discretionary use of confidential information is required.
Must have excellent PC skills to include database, spreadsheet and word processing proficiency.
Must have problem definition, data collection, and fact-finding experience.
