Job DescriptionMaple Star Oregon, a Pathways agency, has been serving Oregon’s children and families throughout the state since 1998. Our current foster homes are located throughout the I5 corridor stretching from Portland to Lane County. Maple Star is a Child Caring Agency both overseeing foster parent certification and case management for youth in foster care. As a partner with Pathways Behavioral Health, Maple Star has access to the experience of an organization that currently employs more than 5000 employees, providing a variety of high-quality community-based human services in 17 states and the District of Columbia.Maple Star is searching for exceptional individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of youth who have experienced significant trauma. Maple Star’s Therapeutic Foster Care program serves youth who benefit from a higher level of support and supervision due to challenging behaviors as well as pre- and post-adjudicated youth in Multnomah County and Clackamas Counties. Foster Care Coordinators (FCCs) are responsible for the ongoing certification maintenance, support, training, and retention of current Family Care Provider homes in their identified caseload. FCCs are also responsible for the case management and oversight of youth placed in their identified Family Care Provider homes.
