A clinic in Oregon is looking for a gastroenterologist for a locum tenens coverage need starting in July. The clinic needs a physician who can work Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The locum will also be a part of a 1:7 call schedule. The provider will work in the OR from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. while the NP see consults in the clinic. The locum will then see new consults from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. There are typically 10-13 cases in the OR each day. The chosen locum will be responsible for stomach and abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, heartburn, diarrhea, constipation, stomachache, hemorrhoids, ulcers, and colon cancer screening.
