Junior Copywriter – Rejuvenation

Our role is to create inspiring content, across all channels in order to bring products to market creatively.Overview of the Jr Copywriter roleAs a Jr.

Copywriter, you will work as a member of our Copy, Marketing team to produce content that maintains the Rejuvenation brand voice across marketing communication, include web, blog, email, social channels, and catalog.

This position will ensure that all content effectively and holistically supports our brand voice.Responsibilities* Creates brand marketing content across multiple mediums, including email, social channels, blog, website pages, and video.* Maintain the highest editorial standards for all copy and ensure that it conforms to the evolving brand voice.

Drive brand forward with a fresh and approachable voice.* Write creative copy for brand communications, ensuring that voice and marketing messages are consistent across all content formats, and align with overall brand strategy.* Conceive, write, and edit editorial elements of emails, product pages, content articles, blog, and social posts, from concept through execution.* Collaborate with creative, merchant, sourcing, and design teams to create accurate and compelling product descriptions.* Ideate and storyboard video content to be used on website and social media channels.* Act as internal point person for all video projects, including communication and partnering with external vendors/agency.* Completion of additional copy, editing, and content projects as determined.Criteria* Minimum of 2 years of experience in copy content creation and editing.* Prior experience creating content about interior design in an editorial, retail, advertising or marketing environment preferred.

Ability to craft strong, engaging copy around product, trends, collaborators and makers.* Video editing, animation creation, and proficiency using After Effects a plus.* Proficiency in a Mac environment using Word, Excel; familiarity with Adobe InDesign preferred.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Excellent creative writing ability.* Working knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style standards.* Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently, under tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects.* Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work successfully as part of a cross-functional team.* A results-oriented approach with the ability to creatively resolve issues and offer optional solutions.* Ability to perform work onsite in the Portland office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.Our Mission Around Diversity, Equity & InclusionWe firmly believe that working in a culture focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion spurs innovation, creates healthy and high-performing teams, and delivers superior customer experiences.
