Office Assistant 2 – TEMPORARY (A005)

Lane County

This is a Full-time position in Eugene, OR posted February 13, 2021.

About the Position
This position will provide excellent customer service to persons with developmental disabilities and their families through a variety of administrative tasks. Our Office Assistant team is an integral part of our organization and is at the center of organizing and running daily operations of our division. The position will include processing and archiving medical records, uploading to the electronic health record, a wide variety of typing, data entry, office support, general clerical and public contact work; and will perform related duties as assigned. Additionally, there will be time-sensitive data entry, working on a variety of databases, tracking information, following up with case managers, this position provides support to the Supervisor of the Administration team.

About the Division
Lane County Developmental Disabilities Services strives to provide a responsive, cooperative lifespan delivery system of support, training, care, monitoring, protection and crisis response for persons with developmental disabilities and their families.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 – 5:00  
*This position is budgeted for a maximum of 1,040 hours during the fiscal year.

*This is an AFSCME represented position*
Training:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.

Experience:
Two years of responsible clerical and office assistance experience.

An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Notes:
This position is subject to a full criminal offender information record check. If fingerprinting is required, the fee is paid for by the successful candidate and the expense is non-reimbursable.
