We are searching for a Purpose Specialist to join our team in Beaverton, Oregon.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The role of the Purpose Specialist, Wings is to support our efforts to create inspiration and access that helps youth create a better future, managing contract and grants, overseeing operations, and program management and evaluation.

Reporting to the Manager, Purpose, key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Wings four programs: The Scholars Program, Intern Program, The Design Program, Beyond Basketball
  • Coordinate efforts across more than 30 global partners globally to unlock access to education and mentorship for disadvantaged youth.
  • Manage day-to-day partner relationships throughout North America.
  • Process annual grants, perform quarterly reporting, and manage seasonal product buys.
  • Work with cross functional marketing teams to execute community brand events.
  • Partner with the Enterprise and Narrative team to produce content and implement monthly internal communications for the entire Jordan Brand team.
  • Collecting all partner measurement and evaluation data.
  • Support efforts to scale existing programs to more key cities.
  • Amplify the employee engagement program in North America.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You’ll be part of the Global Communications and Purpose team for Jordan Brand, working closely with Narrartive Communications, Marketing, Sports Marketing, Digital and Integrated Retail Marketing, as well as connecting back with key partners on the Nike, Inc Purpose team.

 


WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Sales, Marketing, or 2+ years additional experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 3-5 year in professional role requiring exceptional written and verbal communication, including meeting facilitation and presentations, interpersonal, and organization skills
  • Strong project management experience and ability to prioritize and handle multiple task at any given time while maintaining commitments to deadlines
  • Proficiency creating and managing partnership profiles in Salesforce, Adobe, Aravo, or comparable CRM system
  • Proven experience developing and communicating presentations
  • High level of integrity, discretion
  • Experience working with constituent groups including community-based organizations and employees
  • Experience in storytelling using data collection and research
  • Strong inventory management skills
  • Ability to balance creativity with organization and discipline in fast moving, ambiguous environment
  • Comfortable with public speaking and making large group presentations
  • Optimistic and solutions oriented
  • Comfortable trying new approaches and strong professional agility
  • Strong awareness and understanding of the cultural relevance of Jordan Brand and a personal connection to sneaker and/or basketball culture
  • Proficiency in all digital social media platforms a must, i.e. Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, TikTok etc.
