Senior Conveyance Engineer

Murraysmith

This is a Full-time position in Portland, OR posted May 9, 2021.

Murraysmith is currently seeking a wastewater conveyance engineer to join our growing wastewater infrastructure practice in our Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA office.

You will work collaboratively with our growing team of talented professionals in an open and friendly work environment, where personal and professional growth is supported, and contributions to the success of the firm are rewarded. 

You will enjoy a wide variety of interesting assignments that make a real impact to the communities around us while:
Working with multidisciplinary technical teams on a variety of projects Identifying project opportunities and actively participating in proposal and interview processes when necessary Planning and designing improvements to wastewater conveyance systems Managing work programs, project schedules, and budgets Writing technical memorandums, engineering reports, and planning studies Coordinating with clients
Requirements:
Minimum of ten (10)+ years relevant civil engineering experience, fifteen (15) + years preferred Professional Engineer (PE) license BS in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) Five (5) + years of project management experience preferred Extensive conveyance experience Experience managing internal teams  Experience working on municipal and public sector projects (state, county, city and federal) Ability to develop productive, long-term relationships and communicate with clients, peers, multi-discipline teams, and management A reputation of integrity, intelligence, and the ability to exercise good judgment
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Project Ability to work and communicate successfully in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work in teams and independently with multiple priorities Proven record producing quality work products and providing excellent client service Experience with new trenchless installations or pipeline rehabilitation methods Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
