Senior Sales Development(Retail Operations/Robotics)

Zebra Technologies is seeking a Business Development Leader to join our SmartSight/Intelligent Automation team that is passionate about Transforming retail and Transport & Logistics markets; covering the western half of North America.

The ideal candidate understands that automation is the next big technological shift –
– and wants to be a part of the movement, helping clients successfully transform their businesses processes and teams.

This role will develop and execute sales strategy for assigned account(s) or territory with manager’s input; develops positive relationships with key customer contacts and leverages to Zebra’s advantage; builds and delivers high impact sales presentations and capable of product training; often used for those with strong technical background but limited sales experience.

This is a highly cross-functional role working to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and adoption.

Working with internal teams, you will provide learnings from your experiences to help Zebra develop the standard methodologies that will redefine the retail industry.

To succeed in this role, you must be a fast learner, an experienced communicator, understanding that no two clients are the same.

Considered a retail industry wide specialist for sophisticated and complex products / solutions in assigned markets.

Confirmed business development and start-up/launch successes.

(This is a Remote position that is ideally based out of the Western US Region.

– High in near and mid-term * Ability to balance customer and internal business priorities * Ability to create and drive process improvements, cost reduction, knowledge transfer, from client management Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred * 5+ years of proven solution sales experience preferably within retail operations and robotics * Demonstrate a clear understanding of complex major account sales process, including territory and opportunity development//Needs analysis/& creating a value proposition * Develops and adapts advanced sales strategies to unique customer needs; creates customer partnerships * Identify suitable opportunities and develop plans to strategically engage with clients * Ability to travel 50%+ Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in a Start-up environment * Fluency in Spanish preferred, not required * Uses advanced domain/solutions knowledge to competitive advantage * Ability to provide market development, competitor analysis and opportunity analysis.
