We are looking for a Sales Operations Analyst with strong attention to detail and prior sales and customer service experience that is local to the Hillsboro, OR area. Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize quantitative/analytical problem solving capabilities.
  • Serve as a liaison between local business office and Customer’s Japan business office and factory.
  • Influence internal and external customers to resolve escalations.
  • Generate strategies with data analysis.
  • Maintains database of sales activity for assigned product lines.
  • Effectively communicate expectations and deliverables to both internal and external customers in an international, multi-cultural environment.
  • Produce and analyze sales related data associated with deliveries providing sales reports or metrics.
  • Develop weekly customer meeting material including account snapshots for assigned
  • product lines.
  • Schedule and lead multiple customer meetings and internal evening meetings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve outstanding issues related to quality and logistics.
  • Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. Responsible for key areas on the supplier report card.
  • Simulate trends using historical data analysis.
  • Perform assessments, identifying opportunities to improve business processes.
  • Lead business process improvement efforts.
  • Work on multiple tactical and strategic projects simultaneously.
  • Prioritize multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Analyze the information received from users to distinguish their task needs from functional requirements, business rules, and suggested solutions.
  • Understand and define the business case supporting each project.
  • Provide business analysis, project management support and/or data to users in departments such as: Quality, Finance, Materials Planning, Field Service and other key areas.
  • Deliver informative, well-organized presentations in monthly customer
  • meetings.
  • Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Consistently delivers high-quality services to our stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT. (4 yrs of direct work experience may substitute for the education requirement)
  • The candidate should have strong experience in sales and customer service.
  • Must be knowledgeable in MS Office applications including: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bi-lingual English and Japanese preferred but not required
  • Travel possibly 0-10%
