Over the Road Driver

FULL-TIME

$20/hr

Duties include:
· Driving tractor-trailer combination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver products or materials, usually long-distances.
· Maneuvers truck into loading or unloading position, following signals from loading crew/unloading crew as needed.
· Driving truck to weigh station before and after loading, and along route to document weight and conform to federal/state or local regulations.
· Maintaining driver log according to the FMCSA regulations.
· Inspecting truck before, during and after trips and submits report indicating truck conditions.
· Reading bills of lading
· Secure load with load securing devices on trailer during transit.
· Loading or unloading, or assisting in loading and unloading truck; if needed.
· Obtaining customer’s signature or collects payment for services.
· Inventories and inspects goods to be moved.
· Wrapping goods using pads, packing paper, and containers, and secures load to trailer wall using acceptable methods.

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 / Year

Schedule

Shift start: 7:00AM or 12:00PM
Shift length: 10 hours
Monday – Friday, some weekends

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 75 lbs
• Must be at least 21+ years old

Must possess a valid CDL Class ADrivers must have 1-year verifiable Tractor-Trailer experienceDrivers with LTL, refrigerated multiple temperature experience a plus
