Director of Digital Experience and Technology – Remote

EMyth

This is a Full-time position in Ashland, OR posted December 9, 2020.

About us EMyth pioneered the business coaching industry in 1977.

It started with The E-Myth Revisited, one of the 10 best-selling business books of all time, written by founder Michael E.

Gerber.

The book has inspired millions of business owners to work on their business, not just in it.

Based on the principles of the book, our Coaching Program is designed to help business owners make the transition from Technicians, whose businesses work because of them, to Entrepreneurs, whose businesses can flourish without them.

In over 40 years of business coaching, we’ve refined the structure, tools, perspective and support to ensure business owners from all different industries and backgrounds can succeed.

We coach them in all the disciplines they need to know but never learnedto build a business that works.

A primary tenet of our Program is continuous innovation and over the last two years, we’ve gone through a holistic transformation.

We’ve changed our business model, updated our Coaching Program and completed a full rebranding.

Your role As our Director of Digital Experience and Technology, youll have the opportunity to transform how your team and the company design, configure, develop and utilize technology to provide world-class experiences to our four key audiences employees, coaches, clients and prospects.

At EMyth, were all about creating a seamless customer experience (CX), and that passion extends not only to our clients but to our internal team and licensee coaches as well.

Your goal will be to turn your team and our technology systems throughout the company into an innovation engine and information resource that enables everyone in the EMyth community to do their best work with the least amount of friction.

Youll be responsible for planning, implementing and managing EMyths end-to-end digital experience, and all related internally
– and externally-facing products, services and systems, including our CX System Establish a CX collaboration and coordination process that enables us to bring our CX Principles to life in the digital experiences throughout the company.

Product Management System UXUI Design and Development for EMyths HUB, our proprietary Ruby-on-Rails application for coachclient collaboration.

Business Technology (BT) and Process Management Systems The tools we use (e.g.

Hubspot, Salesforce, Skuid, Chargeover, Zapier, Slack, Zoom, etc.) and the process we follow to innovate the business.

Information Technology (IT) System IT infrastructure (e.g.

hardware, network, systems software, etc.) cybersecurity and compliance, remote user provisioning and device management, end-user support, and the administration of our primarily Apple-based environment.

Youll be a valued member of our tight-knit Leadership Team, helping to guide the strategy and direction of the company.

But at the heart of your management relationships will be the mentorship you provide your team.

You’ll use your depth of experience to help your team grow both professionally and personally.

Working collaboratively, you’ll evaluate, innovate, and improve our digital experience and technology systems to create consistency and alignment with our Company Values and CX Principles.

Are a business technology (BT) manager with demonstrated success leading teams who design, build, implement and operate third party software platforms, and develop applications and business intelligence systems.

What youll do Design EMyths digital experience and technology strategy.

Establish and lead EMyths CX-driven design process and practice.

Establish and lead a company-wide collaboration system that ensures EMyths digital products, technology systems, standards and applicable projects meet the most important needs and improve the experience of clients, prospects, coaches and employees.

Advance EMyths Digital Experience and Technology Department by Helping your team and others in technical roles develop their design, development, technical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Establishing and implementing digital experience and technology standards, guidelines, methods, processes and procedures.

Develop a productservice roadmap, and a resource and management plan for EMyths technology stack, including Ruby-On-Rails Coaching HUB Application.

Internal tools primarily built on Salesforce.coms platform.

Departmental business systems, e.g.

Salesforce, HubSpot, ChargeOver, Intercom, etc.

Oversee the companys Information and IT systems and architectures, including An IT managed services vendor who currently provides support for EMyths end-user help desk, network, cybersecurity, IT hardware (for a largely Mac-based environment), physical security, disaster recovery and systemsdata back-up.

Our IT and digital security and protection.

The development and implementation of retention guidelines for company systems, data and records.

The selection and implementation of UIUX methods, tools and technologies.

Manage projects according to EMyth standards.

Develop EMyths business process management system.

Work collaboratively and lead by example as a member of EMyths Leadership Team.

Participate in EMyths strategic and annual planning, and hold responsibility for developing an annual department plan and budget for the companys digital product management, experience and technology strategy.

What youll need BABS in digital design, development, information systems, computer science or a related field is strongly preferred.

Minimum five (5) years of experience as a digital product and experience manager.

Minimum two (2) years of technology (BTIT) services strategy, planning and delivery management experience.

Minimum three (3) years of digital business UIUX design and programming experience.

5+ years of leadership and management experience including skill building and team mentorship.

You know how to create an inspiring and supportive mentorship and accountability-driven environment that allows your people to do their best work while growing personally and professionally.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proven track record of delivering exceptional digital experiences that improved productivity, customer satisfaction, and brand engagement.

Demonstrated success as a project manager.
