JOB SUMMARY As direct report to the VP of Enrollment and External Programs, the develops and implements short-term and long-term marketing plans in support of College accessibility and enrollment goals and objectives; drives consistent brandidentity and awareness to broaden reach, increases accessibility to quality and useful information, and enhance market position across all marketing platforms.

The is also responsible for providing support to faculty, staff and leadership on various initiatives benefiting from Marketing expertise.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the position description satisfactorily.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* Develops and implements short and long-term marketing plans in support of College enrollment and objectives.* Oversees and manages marketing program budget allocating funds when necessary to support of all enrollment streams.* Tracks and reports on key performance metrics to assess effectiveness of various marketing programs and campaigns via Google Analytics and traditional survey methods.* Manages advertising and promotional activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct* Develops timelines, schedules projects, and advises appropriate personnel regarding* Develops and maintains effective working relationships with the print and electronic* Manages projects with printers or media production personnel to meet quality standards and* Manages institutional contracts related to marketing, seeks competitive bids and negotiates rates with outside service providers.* Generates web traffic utilizing SEO/SEM and Google Adwords as well as organic key word generation.* Researches, advocates and implements new marketing techniques as trends and technology change.* Drives consistent brand identity and awareness to broaden reach, increase accessibility to quality and useful information, and enhance market position across all marketing platforms.* Creates and manages college messaging internally and externally.* Manages consistency of messaging and provide support to other staff and faculty utilizing institutional messaging.* Collaborates with Cabinet when changing messaging (conceptualizing potential messaging, presenting and implementing new messaging).* Researches, coordinates, and implements marketing activities including trade shows, college fairs, and related* Ensures appropriate use of the KCC logo, lettering, colors, and standards of design for print and electronic* Writes special feature articles to promote specific programs, courses, workshops, seminars, and College* Designs, writes, edits, and produces internal and external* Develops and produces audio and visual content and presentations, publications, and audiovisual materials to promote College goals, programs, and* Produces a variety of marketing promotional and collateral materials including print advertisements, post cards, brochures, flyers, and* Creates and posts content additions and updates to the KCC website and various social media* Manages relationships with outside agencies regarding ongoing promotional* Selects, trains, supervises, and evaluates student employees in support of departmental* Provides support to faculty, staff, and leadership on various initiatives benefiting from marketing expertise.* Advises, guides, and assists staff in producing marketing and informational* Collaborates with the KCC Cabinet and Foundation on various projects, including event promotion, program launches, and securing* Communicates clear expectations and proactively manages content contributors to meet* Serves as a member of the Growth Initiative Team, actively supporting all KCC enrollment* Manages student staff (work study).* Knowledgeable about current social media, digital marketing trends, and best practicesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE * Proficient in creating professional and compelling written content and design* Proficient at using design programs including InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Flash, Fireworks, and Microsoft Office* Time management, organizational, and analytical skills; ability to coordinate avariety of projects and pay close attention to* Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and resources and to meet critical* Ability to work independently and as a team* Valid driver’s license and reliableEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field with at least two (2) years related experience; or equivalent combination of experience and* Minimum of one year of experience in writing marketing content and preparing marketing materials with demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication and presentationPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS * Frequently moving from stationary sitting positions to standing and* Ability to travelKlamath Community College is an equal opportunity employer.
