Nealy Pierce has been retained by Salem Health to assist in the recruitment of a Manager to oversee the Credentialing and Medical Staff Office.

They have consistently been named a top place to work in healthcare, as well as one of the best employers in the state.This is an opportunity to join an innovative organization with a huge focus on quality and patient experience and be a part of the leadership team driving a new mindset on Credentialing and Privileging that views their role as a close partnership with recruitment, engaging physicians, and helping bring them on board.This position will oversee the entire Credentialing and Privileging office, including analysts, credentialers, and administrative staff.Manager of Credentialing and Privileging Responsibilities:Provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of the Medical Staff Office, including Credentialing, Privileging, Performance Improvement, and ComplianceManages the adherence to medical staff organization governing structures and documents, as well as adherence to accrediting body and state/federal regulatory requirements.Manages on-site surveys, announced and unannounced, by Joint Commission, CMS, and those bodies where we are delegated credentialers in respect to all credentialing, privileging, and medical staff governance topics.Responsible for the department’s A3 and all Kaizen/Lean requirements and executes projects assigned by the Medical Staff Services DirectorParticipates in the recruitment, interviewing, selection, training, and evaluation of hospital staff.

Provides leadership and supervision of their team.Manages the department’s operational budget.
