Manager, Marketing Programs

The Manager, Marketing Programs plays a vital role in developing, driving and executing on marketing programs that meet both demand generation and customer retention marketing objectives at NWEA.

You have a proven track record managing marketing campaigns, both large and small.

You understand internal and market drivers and work cross
– functionally to lead, develop and ensure delivery on, campaigns and program deliverables, all while communicating progress to both marketing and sales teams.

You are data
– driven in your approach and are curious to understand the complexities of the market to create targeted and effective marketing programs and drive positive results through campaign efforts.

Plan, develop, and drive demand generation and partner retention marketing programs and campaigns that align and deliver on marketing and sales goals for NWEA Manage a project management/marketing coordinator team to support tactical execution of programs, campaigns and go-to-market activities .

Mitigate risk by implementing rigorous project management practices.

Work cross
– functionally with product marketing, marketing op eration s, digital marketing, creative, brand and sales to develop programs based on market needs and then activate the team to manage and execute program deliverables.

Facilitate and contribute to the development of strategic plans, content, and tools to address market needs and customer pain points Monitor program strategies, tactics and procedures to meet changing needs of the business Track results of programs, campaigns and tactics to determine ROI and impact against KPIs in partnership with all functions on the marketing team Conduct quarterly reviews of marketing programs and suggest adjustments and optimization based on metrics and data Surface and explore sales needs and feedback to the broader Marketing team to help refine initiatives, messaging and materials Partner with the creative and content team to identify, gather and publicize success stories and media opportunities Collaborate with project managers and program stakeholders to create/maintain campaign or program schedules Keep program management leadership informed of potential risks and missed deadlines on campaigns and programs Coordinate status of projects into program reporting to stakeholder s
Skills and A bilities …
Demonstrated program management skills in accordance with those outlined by (Project Management Institute) PMI Demonstrated experience working with and leading matrixed teams Strong ability to influence and drive consensus across teams, including digital and channel marketing, content, creative, brand, sales, among other functional teams Experience in market analysis, market sizing and segmenting to drive targeted campaigns Exceptional people and communication skills with the ability to communicate information clearly, concisely and ensures others are informed Excellent quantitative and analytical skills needed to drive results.

High attention to detail is important Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives with little supervision Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have ability to meets deadlines and manage multiple projects Demonstrated negotiation, conflict resolution and delegation skills are critical.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.

Marketo and Salesforce.com experience highly valued Customer focus: build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.

Communicate effectively: develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

Education and E xperience …
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field preferred.

3+ years of management experience, either with agency resources or via direct reports 5-7 years of marketing experience, focused on marketing programs and/or campaigns to drive demand generation and customer retention Demonstrated skills in partnering, supporting and collaborating with direct sales organizations Experience in public relations, digital and email marketing, web strategy, design or event management is beneficial Expert project management skills and ability to work on multiple, competing projects concurrently Experience in the field of education (K-12) preferred but not requi red
