Product Marketing Manager, Competitive Intelligence

Strong organization, communication, and creative skills are necessary to be successful. nn nn n nn nnRFPIO is looking for a Product Marketing Manager passionate about the role competitive intelligence can play and the advantages that a strong understanding can bring to the teams.

This key responsibility of this role is to know our competitors inside and out; what they do today and what they plan to do in the future.

We believe this isn’t guesswork, but strategic insights based on market evidence.

Knowledge and insights that will drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels to be successful.

This is not a siloed role, you will regularly collaborate with product managers, customers, and many stakeholders across the company. nn nn n nn nn As a Product Marketing Manager, Competitive Intelligence you will: nn Be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned Collaborate with product management, demand generation, and corporate marketing to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our audiences.

Manage internal tools and external content such as competitive briefs as well as our market position and perception including competitive information on third party sites such as G2.com  Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the advantages and weaknesses we have when selling against the competition including the use of internal tools and external collateral, along with how and when to use it nn n nn nn What you’ll need to be successful in this role:  nn Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others, even remotely High attention to detail, organized, problem solver with good time management, sense of judgement and adaptability to change Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills Self-starter and independent worker nn n nn nn Required experience:  nn 3 or more years experience in B2B marketing for a SaaS product Minimum 2 years experience in product marketing College degree or work equivalent
