What you bring to Nike:+ 10+ Years in Analytics / Application with a focus on marketing measurement and attribution+ Experience working in a direct-to-consumer retail brand preferred+ Track record of collaboration and experience working directly with partners to define and activate capabilities+ Knowledge of best practices & current trends in marketing science and strategy+ Passion for understanding consumer needs coupled with ability to use analytics to measure / capture behaviors and identify opportunities to accelerate growth+ Ability to translate business strategy to data needs to data strategy+ International / multi-market content experience+ Proven experience building positive working relationships and working successfully in cross-functional teams with varied levels of understanding of analyticsThe Senior Director, Consumer Direct Marketing Science will play a meaningful role ensuring the realization of Nike’s Consumer Direct Acceleration.

This person will sit on the leadership team of the Global Marketing Science function while also working as an extended member of the leadership of Nike’s Digital Marketing.

With the ability to sit across these partner functions, this role accelerates the integration of Marketing Science capabilities and insights into the ongoing planning, execution and evaluation of Nike’s direct and digital marketing efforts!Nike’s Consumer Direct Acceleration is the company’s strategy to achieve industry-leading growth through an emphasis on the growth of a Direct-to-Consumer retail business and an integrated marketplace of partners.

To achieve these goals, Nike will require knowledge of the end consumer across the decision-making value chain, including to create and realize marketing efforts that are built to achieve consumer-led outcomes.

The Sr Director, Consumer Direct Marketing Science will have responsibility to build connections between marketing needs / strategy and existing / developing Marketing Science capabilities (e.g.

measurement frameworks, testing strategies and modern attribution).

They will do so by combining a deep understanding of analytics as well as Nike’s Marketing strategy & operations.Working at Nike in this time of growth and dynamic strategic intent is a unique opportunity; we are looking for a professional who is passionate about the Nike brand, energetic and proactive, and thrives on working at the intersection of data and business.Responsibilities:+ Own relationships with leadership of the Digital Marketing function to understand current and anticipate future customer and business needs, understand requirements and define relevant strategic questions+ Apply expertise in deliverables and roadmaps of the Marketing Science function to Digital Marketing function in order to accelerate integration and ultimate better consumer outcomes+ Champion the strategy and operations of the Digital Marketing function to Marketing Science capability teams in order to align ongoing roadmap with business direction+ Act as Marketing Science subject matter authority in key strategic workstreams to advance Digital Marketing capabilities+ Advance Marketing Science agenda and efforts – through integrated business partnership
– in moving from channel-based measurement to measurement based on holistic marketing mix across the marketing funnel+ Coordinate across Global and Geo-based teams of marketing science professionals to foster an ecosystem of aligned planning, execution and learning+ Ensure continual monitoring of the Nike value chain and external environment to challenge assumptions around performance measurement and application+ Lead broad adoption of an iterative testing offense that uses existing knowledge to make continual optimization progressNIKE, Inc.
