As the clinical team continues to grow, WVCI needs an individual that can lead from the treatment room. Responsible for managing the nursing department, this individual will take part in schedule maintenance, hiring and staffing interviews, review clinical policies and procedures, staff training, and much more. 5 years of nursing is required, with at least 3 in Oncology. Previous management experience is preferred, but not required. Are you ready to lead? Adheres to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Supervises nursing staff that provides professional nursing care to patients. Must recognize physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care. Supports and adheres to the WVCI Compliance Program, Code of Ethics and Business Standards.*M*N Responsibilities Clinical Oversight of all clinical operations for all nursing clinical support activities in all 3 divisions of business. Ensures all licensing and certification criteria are met. Assists Manager with the review and revision of clinical policies and procedures. Coordinates adequate staffing for assigned clinics and nursing schedules. Maintains effective nursing staffing levels. Participates in the interview and recruiting process of nursing personnel.Performs tasks assigned to staff nurses as necessaryEnsures clinical operations and practice consistent with organizational objectives.Coordinates education for nursing staff in correct procedures.Staff development staff retention and training programs with support for clinic leads and in coordination with Nursing Manager, coordinates implements, and assists with staff training, in services and internal developmental programs for nursing staff. Assists with annual performance evaluation for nursing department staff. Serves as mentor/preceptor and provides day to day guidance to less experienced nurses. Arranges and leads all monthly team meetings for the divisions. Actively manages workplace conflict under the direction of HR and Nursing ManagerMaintain nursing schedules and timecard record keeping. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred.Minimum five years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including at least three years oncology experience.One year supervisory experience preferred.RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.Current CPR certification required.Current or pending oncology certification preferred.
